The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has reacted to the President
Muhammadu Buhari’s appointment of a national leader of the All
Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, as the Chairman of the party’s
reconciliation committee.
The main opposition party described the appointment of Tinubu as an indication of the Buhari-led government’s incompetence.
In a post on its official Twitter Handle, the party wrote, “What
other proof is required than the announcement by the Presidency of
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as chairman, APC Reconciliation Committee?
“General Buhari, Nigeria President is ‘not aware’ that the federal
government of Nigeria is different from APC and such announcement should
be made by the party, the APC and not the federal government of
Nigeria.”
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday announced the appointment of Senator Ahmed Bolaji Tinubu as the Chairman of the APC reconciliation committee.
