A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Okwagbe, Ughelli
South Local Government Area of Delta State Chief (Hon.) Ovo Ofigo on
Wednesday January 10 said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP may not give
its Presidential ticket to former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku for
placing a curse on the party and its agents for the alleged injustice
meted on him.
Chief Ofigo made the assertion in a chat with select newsmen at the
Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Warri
Correspondents’ Chapel.
Chief Ofigo stated that Atiku Abubakar made the “biggest blunder” by dumping the APC for the PDP.
Ofigo who is also the National Coordinator of Buhari Solidarity
Movement, BSM, said Atiku Abukar should have remembered former Chairman
of the Economic and Financial Crimes.
Commission,EFCC, Mr. Nuhu Ribadu
who was deceived into joining the party but was rubbished.
He described the PDP as a party that does not believe in the right
thing, saying, “It is not going to be Atiku. I think it is suicidal.”
“Atiku rushed too early to make that mistake. That’s why one Kwankwaso is being careful”.
