According to him, the organisation is targeting the state’s 207 electoral wards and approximately 4,989 polling units, noting that its members would move into the field immediately after the inauguration.

Goladi described the party’s presidential candidate, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, as a leader with proven competence and administrative experience, expressing confidence that the Makinde-Daora ticket would offer Nigerians an alternative in 2027.

He also urged members of the campaign organisation to mobilise support for all APM candidates, including the party’s Plateau State governorship flag bearer, Samuel Na’a Otacharishik, popularly known as SDK.

Kyarshik said his ambition was driven by the need to address poverty, unemployment and other challenges confronting the state, stressing that Plateau was too rich to remain poor.

He identified skills development, job creation and economic empowerment as key areas his proposed administration would prioritise, adding that his vision was to improve the living conditions of residents.

The governorship candidate also disclosed that the party had established campaign structures across the state’s electoral wards and polling units, urging supporters to intensify mobilisation ahead of the elections.

In her remarks, the APM deputy governorship candidate, Princess Kaneng Rwangpam, called on women and young people to actively participate in the political process and resist vote buying.

Rwangpam, a development expert and public affairs analyst, emphasised the need for inclusive governance, improved security, industrialisation and poverty reduction, particularly among vulnerable groups and persons with disabilities.

She said Plateau’s poverty level, which she put at 84 per cent, required urgent intervention through sustainable economic programmes, skills development and an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

She further urged residents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and exercise their voting rights, stressing that women must speak up and take their rightful place in political leadership and decision-making.
