American rapper Nicki Minaj has reaffirmed her support for US President Donald Trump following the Democratic Party’s sweeping victories in the November 3 midterm elections.
The rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, November 5, sharing a 15-point message addressing the election outcome and defending Trump and his administration.
“Trump is STILL your PRESIDENT,” she wrote, adding, “The QUEEN is STILL your OBSESSION,” apparently referring to herself.
Minaj also praised Vice President JD Vance for his comments on the election results and congratulated Republican candidates who emerged victorious, particularly Florida Governor-elect Byron Donalds and Representative Anna Paulina Luna.
She further criticised the opposition, urged Republicans to wake up and declared that she remained proud of her fans, known as the Barbz.
In a follow-up post, the rapper praised billionaire Elon Musk and his artificial intelligence chatbot, Grok, describing the platform as a phenomenal product.
Her comments came after Democrats secured control of both the US House of Representatives and Senate, dealing a major setback to Trump’s Republican Party and potentially complicating his legislative agenda for the remaining two years of his presidency.
