White House Press Secretary Sean
Spicer has resigned. He reportedly told President Trump about his intent
this morning. A source said Spicer is upset but will help with transition of the person who takes over.
His resignation comes after Trump offered New York financier and
former Trump campaign fundraiser Anthony Scaramucci the job of
communications director.
Media reports say a White House official and top GOP adviser said Trump asked Spicer to stay on, but he resigned nonetheless.
Spicer’s resignation is already generating hilarious comments and memes on social media.
