A former Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Godswill Akpabio, has been pictured in London with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Akpabio, who won his seat in the Senate on the platform of the
People’s Democratic Party (PDP), is believed to be set to decamp to the
ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The lawmaker’s meeting with Buhari, comes after an aide to the
National Leader of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, claimed he would join the
party in a few days.
