
The Middle belt Movement has been commended for it’s courageous defence of the interest of the region. Governor Simon Lalong stated this during the condolence visit of the Middlebelt Movement to Government House Jos.

Lalong who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Prof Sonni Tyoden,
said “the security architecture of this country should be reviewed.”
Earlier,
Mr Bitrus Pogu, Chairman of the Middlebelt Movement condemned the
killings and called for the arrest and prosecution of those arrested.

Dr Pogu said “our lives are not so cheap that people with just come and take it”
He said they came to show solidarity with the people of the region calling on the people to unite against the aggressors.
“We appeal to the authorities to ensure justice is done”, he concluded.
Prominent
amongst those on the delegation included Amb Dan Suleiman, Gen Zamani
Lekwot Rtd, Prof Jerry Gana and Bar Mark Jacob amongst others.
