The first ever peace and relationship seminar of its kind in Plateau State was held on Saturday 6th August, 2016 at ASUU Secretariat, University of Jos.
The event is an initiative of Bello Lukman of the popular Unity Fm Programme LOOKOUT, a programme that preaches peace and justice as it concerns human relationship.
A Peace lecture was delivered by Mr Joseph Legman, Director General Bureau of peace and conflict management and Among the attendees were the Deputy Speaker house of assembly, Honorable Yusuf Gagdi, the Director of Press Government House, Emanuel Nanle, the MD Unity Fm, Hajiya Lare Baba and a host of others.
The high point of the event was the presentation of awards to some distinguished personalities, they are:
Hon. Yusuf Gagdi – Legislator of the Year
Emmanuel Nanle – Best public officer of the Year
Luka Pampe – Best analyst of the year
Kazim Yusuf – Most Conscious and ardent listener of the year
Abdulahi Rocky Boy – Most Conscious Listener of the Year
There were other facilitators who gave brief talks bothering on peace and relationship issues, with entertainment and laughter from Omodan, Mc Commander, Legend of Comedy, Mc Schoolboy, Decipher, The Eagle Dance crew and more…
