The Winners and Runners up of the Jos Chillin’ Football Tournament “Dr Tsenba Wummen Cup” were presented with their cash rewards, Today 2nd March 2018 at Mees Palace Event Center Jos.
At the presentation, the various coaches expressed gratitude to the organizers of the tournament with the coach of the winning team, Coach Ado of Gee-Lec Academy, said that this was the best competition his team have participated.
The cash presented was Gee-Lec Academy = N150,000, second place Debless Academy = N100,000 and third place Nike Boys FC = N50,000. The Organizers promised a better tournament for the 2018 edition which will kick off in November.

Gee-Lec boys defeated Debless Academy in the finals by a goal (1-0) in a
keenly contested match played at Mees Palace Event Centre Jos. Early
Kickoff for third place match also saw last years winners, Nike Boys FC
beating De-Bless (2-1) to emerge as third place runners up.

The 2017 tournament featured grassroots football teams involving 16 teams shared
into four groups. The tournament produced a total of 94 goals as all
the Semi Finalist were earlier presented with new sets of Jos Chillin’ jerseys.
