The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has received his Certificate of Return alongside other members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), following the conclusion of the 2026 National Convention.

The presentation ceremony took place at the APC National Headquarters in Abuja and was conducted by the party’s 2026 National Convention Committee, marking the formal ratification of the newly constituted NWC leadership.

The committee, chaired by Aminu Bello Masari, with Mai Mala Buni serving as Secretary, formally handed over the certificates to the elected officials. Other notable members of the committee included former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.

The post-convention exercise signals the completion of the party’s internal electoral process and underscores what party leaders described as a smooth transition and demonstration of unity within the APC.

Speaking after receiving the certificate, Prof. Yilwatda expressed appreciation to the convention committee for what he described as a transparent and well-organized process. He noted that the successful conduct of the convention reflects the party’s cohesion and preparedness for future political engagements.

Other members of the NWC also commended the process, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective effort as the party moves into its next phase of political activities.
