Tompolo Donates 25 Vehicles to Boost Tinubu’s 2027 Re-Election Campaign in Ekiti

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, led by its Grand Patron, Niger Delta leader High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has donated 25 campaign vehicles to strengthen grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The vehicles were unveiled on Thursday, October 29, 2026, during the inauguration of the movement’s Ekiti State chapter and its executives at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion in Ado-Ekiti.

Tompolo, who was represented at the event by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Kestin Pondi, said the vehicles would support the movement’s operations across the 16 local government areas of Ekiti State, including wards and polling units.

He explained that the initiative was part of the movement’s nationwide effort to engage voters directly, communicate the policies of the Tinubu administration and strengthen political participation at the grassroots.

Pondi also defended the Federal Government’s economic reforms, particularly the removal of petrol subsidy, arguing that the policies had improved the financial capacity of state governments to pay salaries and pensions and execute development projects.

Speaking at the event, Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, challenged APC leaders and members to mobilise support for Tinubu, setting a target of securing at least 80 per cent of the votes in the state for the President in the January 2027 election.

Oyebanji expressed appreciation to the President for his administration’s support towards Ekiti’s development, insisting that the state should reciprocate by delivering a strong electoral victory for him.

He also warned against voter apathy, urging party stakeholders to identify eligible voters who possess Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) but failed to participate in previous elections and encourage them to turn out in large numbers in 2027.

Earlier, the National Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Sunday Asuku, urged the newly inaugurated state executives to intensify community engagement and ensure the movement’s activities reach residents across the state.

The inauguration and donation of the vehicles form part of the movement’s wider nationwide mobilisation efforts to build grassroots support for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
