Mutfwang, Yilwatda inaugurate Tinubu’s door-to-door campaign movement as Tompolo donates 25 vehicles

Oil magnate and security contractor, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has donated 25 campaign vehicles to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The vehicles were presented during the inauguration of the Plateau State and local government executives of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement held at Langfield Event Centre, Little Rayfield, Jos.

The event was attended by Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang; National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda; and other political leaders and supporters.

Tompolo, who serves as the Grand Patron of the movement, was represented at the occasion by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Dr Kestin Pondi.

Speaking on behalf of Tompolo, Pondi described President Tinubu as a courageous leader who had taken bold decisions to reposition the country for development.

He urged members of the newly inaugurated movement to remain committed to their responsibilities by intensifying grassroots mobilisation and engaging residents across communities ahead of the 2027 elections.

He also appealed to Nigerians to exercise patience with the Federal Government’s economic reforms, expressing optimism that the policies would eventually yield positive results through increased investment, job creation and economic growth.

Governor Mutfwang commended Tompolo for his support, describing the donation of the 25 vehicles as a significant boost to the movement’s mobilisation efforts in Plateau State.

The governor also expressed confidence in Tinubu’s leadership, stating that he had decided to support the President since June 2023 because he believed in his vision for Nigeria.

He urged members of the movement to adopt the door-to-door mobilisation strategy used during the 2023 general elections to canvass support for Tinubu ahead of the next presidential election.

Also speaking, APC National Chairman, Professor Yilwatda, called on Plateau residents to support Tinubu’s re-election bid, highlighting the Federal Government’s interventions in security and infrastructure development across the state.

He cited security interventions in troubled communities, including Bokkos and Riyom, as well as plans to deploy additional military personnel and forest guards to strengthen security.

Yilwatda also highlighted ongoing and proposed road projects in the state, urging residents to support the APC and its candidates in the 2027 general elections.

The donated vehicles are expected to support the movement’s grassroots mobilisation activities across local government areas, wards and communities in Plateau State.

The inauguration marks another phase in the expansion of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement as supporters begin preparations for the 2027 general elections.
