Following the disturbance in the Dong/Rafiki areas of Plateau state, Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong has declared a dusk to
dawn curfew as a measure to quell all lingering crises within the area.

In a statement signed by the secretary to the Government of the
state, Mr Rufus Bature, Lalong urged the communities to sheath their
swords and allow the law to take its course.
This disturbance is the 6th in a series of attacks and counter attacks that has plagued Plateau state since President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit of 8th and 9th March 2018.
