The Instagram account of Nigerian crypto entrepreneur Linus Williams, popularly known as Blord, has been taken down following his recent clash with controversial social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM).
The dispute reportedly began after both men engaged in a heated online exchange over the alleged buying and selling of upgraded iPhone XR devices modified to look like iPhone 17 models.
Blord had earlier shared contacts where buyers could reportedly purchase the upgraded phones at lower prices, a move that drew criticism from VDM, who accused him of promoting fake devices. The disagreement quickly escalated into a social media feud.
In retaliation, Blord allegedly posted explicit images and videos of VDM online—an act that sparked outrage and condemnation from many users. Shortly after, Blord’s Instagram page, which had over three million followers, disappeared from the platform.

While some reports suggested that the account was suspended by Instagram for policy violations, others claimed Blord may have deactivated it himself following the backlash.
Reacting to the development, VDM took to his Instagram page to mock the businessman, describing the suspension as a lesson.
“I told them if I come for you, you’re the victim; if you come for me, you’re still the victim. Either way, you’ll learn and you’ll learn the hard way,” he wrote.
“Out of anger, you went to post nonsense. I’m not even happy they brought the account down; I had a lot of things to say to him. I came with a tarnished image—nothing can move me. Now you’ve lost in every way. Business-wise, I don collect am.”
As of press time, Blord has not issued any official statement regarding the deactivation or suspension of his Instagram account.
