Ahead of next Saturday September 27th governorship election in Osun
state, the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission
INEC, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, today said voters will not to be allowed
to come with any electronic device that is capable of recording sounds
and images inside the polling booths during the election.
Yakubu disclosed this at a stakeholders’ forum in Osun state today September 17th.
The chairman of the electoral commission said that the new
development would help to reduce vote-buying and selling which
politicians have adopted.
