Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Simon Lalong has described the
home coming of President Muhammadu Buhari after his medical vacation as
answered prayers for all peace loving Nigerians who believe in the unity
and progress of Nigeria.
This was contained in a statement signed by
Emmanuel Nanle ,the director of Press and public affairs and made
available to newsmen in Jos in Sunday Governor Lalong described
President Muhammadu Buhari as one Leader with an exceptional passion,
whose long standing desire bring the Nation out of the claws of
corruption, insecurity and underdevelopment.
The Governor said, while Nigerians across the Globe where praying for
Mr President’s recuperation, he was himself while recuperating praying
for the strength and grace to better the living condition of all
Nigerians. The Governor commended the Vice President, Prof. Yemi
Osinbajo for ensuring that there was no vacuum in terms of the provision
of quality leadership during the medical vacation of the President. He
assured all Nigerians that with his knowledge of the person and
character of Mr. President, he will be continuing with all the Acting
President has initiated and would particularly ensure the corruption
report of the National Bureau of Statistics receives attention as well
the recent resurgence of Boko Haram attacks in Borno and the ongoing
Strike Action of ASUU.
He also pleaded with all Nigerians to continue to pray for strength
for Mr President and for the peace and prosperity of our Nation.
