A Kwara-based youth group, The Olanrewaju Oba Youth Forum, will on
Sunday, September 16, send a strong signal of support towards the
presidential ambition of Senate President Bukola Saraki with a one
million man march around the state.

Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday, the Convener of the forum,
Olanrewaju Oba, said the march became necessary owing to the huge
antecedents of Mr Saraki as a former Governor of Kwara state and
incumbent Senate President of the country.

“Senator Bukola Saraki has distinguished himself as a leader of
the masses and as a man we can trust. We are so sure of his
capabilities and he is the best candidate for the job. This is basically
why we are organizing the 1millionMan march for him,”
the convener pointed out.

Mr Oba further said the manner in which Mr Saraki had been running
the affairs of the upper chamber of the National Assembly was a pointer
to his maturity and his ability to rule the country with focus.

He also commended the senate president for answering the call of
teeming Nigerian Youths for him to contest for the presidency at a time
when the country needs competent and capable personalities like him.

“The decision of the Senate President to answer the call of
teeming youths by contesting to become Nigerian President is not only
heart-warming but very laudable.

“We are thrilled by the prospect of having a leader like
Senator Bukola as a Nigeria’s President. He has all the qualities and we
had thought of having him will be something to be proud of. We know
that with him Nigeria has a great future,”
Mr Oba emphasised.

While encouraging other Nigerian politicians to emulate the
leadership style of the senate president, the convener said Kwara youths
are strongly behind his ideas and ideals.

Mr Oba also said the state would not forget the achievement of the
Senate President as he had written his name on gold flatter already.

It would be recalled that Mr Saraki had declared his intention to
contest for the seat of Nigeria’s residency recently, a move that had
been widely applauded by Nigerians at home and abroad.
