Two persons have been reportedly killed by killer herdsmen on Saturday and Sunday in Riyom LGA, Plateau State.
Ambrose Stephen Ntyang a staff of NESCO was killed on Saturday
18th August, 2018 in Palang Village Shonong Ward Bachi District LGA
while Timothy Bulus of Darwat Village Jol Ward Riyom LGA was also shot
dead by the Killer herdsmen in the evening of Sunday 19th August, 2018.
Riyom LGA has been witnessing hostilities since 2001 and it has continued.
Natives are calling on governments to overhaul the security and live
up to their constitutional responsibilities of protecting lives and
property of the citizens.
At the time of filing this report, security agencies are said to have
been alerted on the attacks especially the Sector 9 of the Operation
Safe Haven and the Police Divisional Office Riyom LGA.
