Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal with Manchester City to sign Brazilian winger Savinho for £75 million, with a further £10 million in potential add-ons.
The 22-year-old is now expected to undergo a medical before signing a long-term contract with the North London club.
Savinho joined Manchester City from Troyes in 2024 for a reported €40 million. During his time at the Etihad, the Brazilian made 53 appearances, recording two goals and 12 assists.
Tottenham had previously attempted to sign Savinho last summer, but their initial bid was unsuccessful after the winger decided to remain at City and compete for his place in the squad.
The move represents another major addition to Tottenham’s squad and takes the club’s summer spending beyond £300 million.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side have been particularly active in the transfer window, strengthening the squad with the likes of Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke, while also bringing in free agents Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Martin Dubravka.
Despite their significant spending, Tottenham have also generated substantial income from player sales, recouping around £140 million through the departures of Luka Vuskovic, Cristian Romero and Djed Spence.
Savinho’s arrival is expected to further strengthen Tottenham’s attacking options as they prepare for the new season.
