Gospel singer Tina Campbell and her husband, Teddy Campbell, are set to divorce after more than two decades of marriage.
According to reports by People, court documents reveal that Teddy Campbell filed for divorce on April 13 in Los Angeles, stating that the couple has been separated since June 2024.
The pair, who got married in August 2000, share two minor children and also raised three older children together, including one from Teddy’s previous relationship.
In the filing, Teddy is seeking visitation rights for their younger children, while details regarding spousal support are yet to be determined.
Tina Campbell rose to prominence as one-half of the gospel duo Mary Mary alongside her sister, gaining widespread recognition with hit songs such as “Shackles (Praise You)” and “Walking.”
The couple’s marriage has previously faced public challenges. In 2014, Teddy was involved in an infidelity scandal that became widely known through their reality TV show Mary Mary. At the time, Tina spoke candidly about the emotional toll of the situation.
Despite the setback, the couple reconciled and made efforts to rebuild their relationship, often sharing their journey in interviews and public appearances.
However, the latest development marks a new chapter, as both individuals move forward separately after years of marriage and attempts at reconciliation.
