The 2027 governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Plateau State, retired Brigadier General John Sunday Sura, has congratulated retired Brigadier General Jonathan NdamTemlong on his recognition as a defender of Nigeria’s democracy.
In a Democracy Day goodwill message issued through the Sura Directorate of Media and Strategy, Sura described the honour bestowed on NdamTemlong as a reflection of his commitment to democratic values, peace, and national development.
He commended the retired military officer for his dedication to Nigeria’s leadership role in regional peace and democratic advancement, noting that his contributions continue to inspire many Nigerians.
According to Sura, being recognized during the nation’s Democracy Day celebration underscores NdamTemlong’s outstanding leadership qualities and unwavering belief in democratic governance.
“Our drive is anchored on the belief that working as One Tribe, One Plateau is what matters now. Therefore, we are proud to work with you to protect our democracy by ensuring security of lives and property, thereby restoring peace through justice, fairness, unity of purpose, and the application of law and order in society, especially in Plateau State,” he stated.
Sura further reaffirmed his commitment to promoting peace, unity, and security in Plateau State through collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening democratic institutions and social harmony.
He congratulated NdamTemlong on the recognition and wished him a happy Democracy Day celebration.
