Moniepoint Microfinance Bank is set to convene its State Retail Officers Masterclass (SROM) 2026 in Abuja, as part of efforts to enhance retail banking operations and develop a future-ready workforce.
The three-day programme, titled “Sales and Operational Intelligence,” will hold from January 8 to 10, 2026, at the Prixair Training Center, Wuse Zone 6. It will bring together retail officers, operations managers, and growth leaders from across the North Central region and other parts of Nigeria.
According to the organisers, the masterclass aims to sharpen leadership, analytical, and operational skills in response to the growing demands of Nigeria’s evolving financial services sector. Participants will be exposed to modern sales intelligence systems, operational excellence frameworks, and customer growth strategies designed to improve branch performance, enhance service delivery, and drive revenue expansion.
Convener and Regional Retail Officer for the North Central Region, Evah Progress, said the initiative reflects Moniepoint’s commitment to building a results-oriented retail structure anchored on innovation, accountability, and customer satisfaction. He added that the programme would equip participants with actionable tools for market penetration, team productivity, and data-driven decision-making.
The masterclass will feature expert sessions led by senior Moniepoint executives and industry professionals, including Ezekiel Sani (Senior Vice President, DNS), Tolu Alegbe (Vice President, Moniepoint Loans), Abdulmumin Tijjani (Regional Manager, Product Sales – Retail Banking), Mutiu Tijani (Regional Manager, Product Sales – Loans), Oluwatosin Oyekanmi (Head of Growth, Retail Banking), and marketing expert Udochukwu Chikwendu.
Other facilitators include Umulqusum Abdulwahab (HR Business Partner, North Central), Sulaiman Rabiu (State Coordinator, FCT), Edwin Onyegbuna (Regional Compliance Officer), Betty Kenneth (Sales Operations Officer), and Hamza Abdullahi (Regional Training Officer).
