
The Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial Zone, Senator Jonah
David Jang has visited Tudun Wada Jos to condole with the families of
Peter kefas and Jerry WU Dogo who lost their lives on Thursday 24th May
2018 while accompanying him home following his bail application being
granted by Hon Justice Longji of the Plateau State High Court.
Jang said,the late Peter and Jerry represent the true spirit of
Plateau Youth when it comes to standing up for freedom and justice as
Plateau State stands tall for the Unity of Nigeria.
The Former Governor, who arrived at about 5:30 p.m in company of his
wife Ngo Talatu Jang , wrote in the condolence register: “On behalf of
my entire family,supporters and well wishers,
we condole with the families of the deceased.”
“They were among the foremost and dedicated Youth this State has produced”
Jang prayed God to grant the families of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss.
Later, Jang condoled with the mothers of the deceased and some other family members.
Among dignitaries that accompanied the Senator were Rt Hon George
Daika, Rt Hon John Bull Shekarau, Hon Timothy Golu, Hon Solomon Maren,
Hon Abubakar Badu, Hon Abraham Yiljap, Hon Idi Waziri,Hon Paul Wai, Hon
Nandom Pyenap Exo and a host of other Former Commissioners and Party
chieftains.
The Senator was earlier received by Chief Simon Tangni and Rev Thomas Dogo on behalf of the two families respectively.
The Senator also took time to visit the wounded and prayed for their quick recovery.
