The three-day training programme, which ran from January 8 to 10, 2026, was themed “Sales and Operational Intelligence.” It was designed to equip retail leaders with the leadership identity, strategic discipline and reproducible performance frameworks required for sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive banking landscape.

Opening the programme, the Convener and Regional Retail Officer, North Central, Evah Progress, challenged participants to move beyond effort-based performance to system-driven productivity. He emphasized that consistent success is built on mindset, motive and measurable processes, adding that results that cannot be reproduced should be regarded as incidental rather than strategic.

Progress urged retail officers to build scalable habits, structured operations and empowered teams capable of delivering predictable outcomes, stressing that professional identity directly shapes leadership effectiveness and branch performance.

A key technical session was delivered by Ezekiel Sani, Senior Vice President, DNS, who spoke on “Building Strong Sales Strategies and Execution Excellence.” He outlined frameworks for strengthening sales leadership, accountability and field execution.
