Update on #JosMassProtest #IStandWithNigeria #OnevoiceNigeria Press Release. Yesterday i got a call from the Commander Operation Safe haven Major Gen Nicholas Rogers and the Head of Intelligence DSS inviting me for an interactive session, i honored their respective invite at different hour  yesterday.

I must confess that my interaction with them was awesome, this morning i got a call from the Deputy commissioner of police inviting me for another interface with the commissioner of police plateau State this was also wonderful he probed into the reason behind the citizens mass rally scheduled to hold on Tuesday 14th February 2017 at the Jos Township Stadium, I had to properly brief him on what the mass protest is all about. at the end of the Interface with the CP we were giving security clearance for the #JosMassRally. He equally promised to relate the clearance with other heads of security agencies in the state. Honestly it has been very tough and interesting  this few days engaging young people on this exercise.

i must confess that the support of our young people is overwhelming, at this point i must say that am proud to be a Nigerian Youth. I also commend our security agencies for living up to their responsibilities. They agreed with us that we have a right to organise the mass protest, they equally advised that we must be civil before, during and after the exercise.

On this note i say a very big thank you to my team and colleagues despite the harassment and intimidation of some few selfish individuals  in the country they have remain steadfast and committed to this course.  I call on you my fellow citizens especially our young people not to give up this struggle no matter the provocation or intimidation by some few elements. Lets still be civil no matter the circumstances.

#JosMassProtest still holds on Tuesday 14th February 2017 @ the Jos township Stadium we shall March from there to old government house were we shall present our letter to the federal government through His Excellency Governor Simon B. Lalong  God bless you all.

Amb Chris Iyama
