Self-acclaimed financial adviser and influencer, GehGeh, has come under heavy criticism on social media after posting photos of himself posing on a cross — an act many described as a mockery of the Christian faith.

The controversial images, which depict GehGeh in a position resembling the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, sparked outrage among Christians and social media users who tagged the display as offensive and insensitive.

In response to the backlash, GehGeh took to his page to clarify his intentions, insisting that his actions were not meant to ridicule religion but to pass a message about humanity and compassion.

He wrote:

“No let anybody deceive you, man no be God and our God is a merciful God. Na una put religion for head God no really send wetin una dey do, just have a good heart and worship him stop fighting for him.”

However, his explanation did little to quell the anger, as many continued to demand that he delete the post and issue a public apology.

One user, @Dalton_of_lagos, commented:

“40 years old man, is this what you’re doing with your life? I give you 24hrs to delete these pictures and make a video begging Nigerians to forgive and pray for you.”

Another user, @youngboyy04, challenged him, saying:

“I want you to recreate a Muslim content like this please on a Friday morning.”

Others accused GehGeh of disrespecting Christianity, with @zeeks_official writing,

“The pinnacle of the Christian faith is what this boy is joking with.”

While some found humor in the post, the majority condemned it, with calls for greater respect toward religious symbols and beliefs.

As of the time of this report, GehGeh’s post remains online, continuing to attract widespread reactions from across social media platforms.
