A dramatic scene unfolded at a funeral in Veracruz after two women reportedly got into a physical altercation upon discovering they had both been romantically involved with the deceased.
The incident occurred during the man’s wake, where the two women, initially unaware of each other, were mourning by his coffin. Tension reportedly escalated when one of them was heard whispering, “Love, I’m going to miss you,” raising suspicion from the other.
Moments later, the situation spiraled into chaos as the women began fighting across the coffin, knocking its lid loose in the process. The confrontation, captured in a now-viral video, drew loud reactions from stunned mourners present at the service.
At one point, one of the women grabbed a bouquet of funeral lilies, while the other tried to wrest it back, further intensifying the scuffle.
An attendee dressed in black eventually intervened, pulling one of the women away in an attempt to restore order.
