Bill Gates is set to testify before the House Oversight Committee in June as part of the ongoing investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

Gates, who has denied any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, will participate in a closed-door transcribed interview scheduled for June 10. Although his name appears in documents linked to the case, officials note that this does not imply criminal wrongdoing. However, scrutiny has persisted over his past meetings with Epstein following the financier’s 2008 conviction, as well as reports that he traveled on Epstein’s private aircraft.

A spokesperson for Gates said he welcomes the opportunity to cooperate with the committee and answer questions as part of the investigation.

The testimony comes amid renewed attention on the Epstein files and concerns over the limited number of arrests tied to the case. The issue has also drawn personal attention, particularly regarding references to Melinda French Gates, who recently expressed sadness over the continued release of related documents and directed further inquiries to her ex-husband.

In a related development, the scheduled deposition of former U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on April 14 has been postponed. Assistant Attorney General Patrick Davis explained that since Bondi no longer holds office, the subpoena does not compel her appearance on that specific date.

The committee is reportedly working with her legal team to reschedule, while Representative Robert Garcia warned that failure to comply could result in contempt proceedings.

Other high-profile figures expected to appear before the committee include Ted Waitt on April 30, Howard Lutnick on May 6, and correctional officer Tova Noel on May 18.

They join a list of individuals who have already provided testimony, including Bill Barr, Alex Acosta, and Hillary Clinton. Meanwhile, Ghislaine Maxwell previously appeared before the committee in February but invoked her Fifth Amendment rights, declining to testify without immunity or clemency.
