Veteran Nigerian musician, 2Face Idibia, has finally responded to his mother’s viral claim that he had been kidnapped.
A few weeks ago, a controversial video surfaced online showing 2Face’s mother alleging that her son was missing and had been abducted without a trace. Her statement came amid ongoing rumors surrounding the singer’s alleged divorce.
However, 2Face said he’s trying to raise ransom for his release.
Speaking during his performance at a recent comedy show, 2Face sarcastically said, “Allegedly I have been missing.
“Allegedly I have been kidnapped. So as we come to the Acapella show, this show is to generate money for the kidnappers to release me”.
The singer has been sighted in public several times since the missing person’s report.
