Yemisi, Wife to Senior Pastor of Champions Royal Assembly in Abuja,
Joshua Iginla, has reacted to claims by her husband that their marriage
ended due to infidelity on both sides.
It was reported that Pastor Iginla who announced the end of
his marriage last week said his wife cheated and had an ‘unholy child,
but he forgave her.
However, when he (Iginla) also cheated and had a child outside wedlock, she decided to make life unbearable for him.
He was quoted as saying, ”And somehowshe brought an unholy child into the matrimony,
I don’t want you to judge my wife or anything, but it led to so many
battles, family intervention but we covered it. We would not have gotten
to this point if my wife had listened to me when we had the battle.
”I also went out and got a child outside of wedlock and then it
became a battle in the family and so this battle has become a big one
that some men of God are taking advantage of the battle and even some
bad people under me are feeding on this battle.
But, speaking on the allegation, Yemisi in a viral video accused her
husband of having an affair with a prophetess from South Africa,
identified as Stella.
Challenging her husband to carry out a DNA test to show that all her
kids are his, Yemisi said she recently found out online, that her
husband had married Stella.
”Pastor Iginla’s mistress, Stella, contacted me to share my husband
with her, warning me that if I failed to do so she will take him from
me. She said I was selfish for holding to my husband and not sharing him
with her
”According to her, AS and AS marriage can never be good. The next day
it was a naked demonstration of Gods love, my husband never told me
about his affair with Stella.
”If he says I am lying, he should come up and do a genotype. My major
pain at the time was that Stella, was always with him and I was
surprised that he got married to Stella.
” My three children are his, I have never lived a promiscuous life. I
am speaking out for my children’s sake and their destiny. I only just
found out online that he married Stella.
”I am addressing this saga because of my children so that when they
grow up, they won’t say I was quiet. I am speaking out for my children
sake and destiny.
”My husband is Brother Iginla, If he says it is the end of the marriage, it is not the end of my life.’’
