The Plateau state government through the state commissioner for
information and communication Hon Yakubu Dati call for calm from
citizens following declaration of the governorship elections inconclusive.
Dati made the appeal shortly after pronouncements by INEC.

The Plateau State Government hereby calls for calm following pronouncements by the Independent National Election Commission, declaring the Governorship election as inconclusive.
State Commissioner of Information and Communication Yakubu Dati in a press release in Jos Monday morning urged citizens to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner as we await a new date for the conduct of the election.
He solicited for understanding from the general public stating that the electoral body acted within it’s powers in line with the electoral laws.
The Commissioner ask Plateau people to work towards maintaining the peace and successful polls..
