YouTube has removed a channel linked to a pro-Iran group known as Explosive Media, which was producing viral Lego-style AI-generated videos mocking former U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to a YouTube spokesperson, the channel was taken down on March 27 for violating platform policies on spam, deceptive practices, and scams.

Explosive Media, which describes itself as independent but is widely suspected of having links to Iran, gained widespread attention during ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran for its animated satire that attracted millions of views online.

In response to the suspension, the group criticised the decision on X, writing: “Seriously! Are our LEGO-style animations actually violent?” Despite the takedown, the group continues to circulate its content on other platforms, including X and Telegram, while its Instagram presence has also reportedly faced restrictions.

The videos typically portray Trump as a caricatured figure placed in exaggerated and often humiliating scenarios. One widely circulated clip referenced the phrase “Trump always chickens out,” using fictionalised depictions of geopolitical and military events.

Analysts say the content reflects a growing trend of meme-driven animated propaganda, sometimes referred to as the “Legofication” of online information warfare.

The English-language focus of the videos has raised questions about its intended audience, particularly as platforms like X are restricted within Iran. Observers also note that limited internet access inside the country adds further uncertainty about how the content is produced and distributed.

Explosive Media has denied any connection to the Iranian government, describing such claims as “media distortion,” even as scrutiny over its activities continues.
