The Vote Tinubu Again (VOTA) advocacy group has reiterated its commitment to rallying nationwide support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, reaffirming confidence in the administration’s economic and security reforms.

During a strategic leadership meeting held on 21 November 2025 at the organisation’s national secretariat in Abuja, VOTA executives reviewed ongoing national issues and assessed the progress of their advocacy activities across the country.

Chairing the meeting, the National Coordinator, Senator I. D. Gyang, commended the National Executive Council (NEC) for its dedication and urged members to scale up sensitisation efforts on President Tinubu’s reform agenda. He underscored the importance of educating citizens on the administration’s policies, particularly those aimed at stabilising the economy and addressing the country’s security challenges.

According to Senator Gyang, Nigeria is undergoing a critical phase of transformation, making it imperative for civic organisations like VOTA to strengthen public engagement and deepen understanding of government initiatives.

The meeting also highlighted VOTA’s growing national and international reach. With structures in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, the organisation continues to expand its membership in the diaspora—an indication of its widening influence and global mobilisation drive. The attendance of the Diaspora Assistant Director further reinforced VOTA’s commitment to engaging Nigerians beyond the country’s borders.

In its resolutions, the group condemned the renewed wave of schoolchildren abductions by terrorists, describing the attacks as a deliberate attempt to undermine the Tinubu administration’s progress on national security. The leadership called for collective vigilance and stronger collaboration with security agencies to protect vulnerable communities.

VOTA concluded the meeting with a renewed pledge to champion national unity, promote political stability, and advance the success of President Tinubu’s development agenda as the nation continues its journey toward economic renewal and security consolidation.
