Social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has advised TikTok stars Peller and Jarvis to reconsider their decision to get married, saying they are still too young to take such a step.
The advice comes after Peller and Jarvis recently announced plans to tie the knot on August 1, 2026.
Reacting in a video shared on his social media platforms, VeryDarkMan urged the couple to carefully rethink their decision, stressing that marriage requires a level of maturity and commitment beyond what is often portrayed on social media.
He noted that marriage should not be approached in the same way as content creation, adding that he does not believe the pair are adequately prepared for the responsibilities that come with it.
VeryDarkMan particularly advised Peller to prioritise his education, arguing that he should focus on his personal development before considering marriage.
According to him, marriage is a serious lifelong commitment that should not be entered into hastily, insisting that Peller is still young and would benefit more from remaining in school at this stage of his life.
Neither Peller nor Jarvis has publicly responded to VeryDarkMan’s remarks.
