Following his release after questioning at the police headquarters in Abuja, Plateau-based media personality Bello Lookman has expressed gratitude to Nigerians and supporters who stood by him during the period.
Lookman disclosed that he appeared before authorities alongside former Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung, and was received by ACP Mayamba Magomya Iliya, whom he praised for professionalism and fairness. After the interview process, he said it was established that he had committed no offence.
He also acknowledged the presence and support of several prominent individuals and friends who showed solidarity, noting that their encouragement helped strengthen his resolve.
The media figure extended special appreciation to supporters across Plateau State and beyond, including colleagues in the media and digital space, stating that their prayers, advocacy, and public support contributed to his freedom.
Lookman described the experience as humbling and reaffirmed his commitment to continue engaging constructively with society.

His release has drawn reactions from supporters who view the development as a reaffirmation of justice and due process.
Freedom, he says, is shared — and gratitude belongs to everyone who stood with him.
