Troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with local hunters, have arrested two suspected members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) during a coordinated operation in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The suspects were identified as 30-year-old Mallam Babangida Abubakar and 18-year-old Abdullahi Yusuf.
According to preliminary investigations, both suspects allegedly confessed to participating in multiple terrorist operations across the North-East.
Abubakar reportedly admitted involvement in the abduction of school children in Mussa and an attack on Leho Village in Askira Local Government Area of Borno State.
Yusuf, on his part, allegedly confessed to taking part in an attack on Tellabala Village in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
