The Presidency has stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made significant strides in transforming Nigeria, with ongoing projects across the country aimed at boosting development and restoring national pride.
Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga made the assertion while briefing journalists ahead of a planned tour of project sites, noting that the administration’s initiatives span all states of the federation and cut across key sectors such as infrastructure, human capital, and economic development.
According to him, the tour is designed to give Nigerians a comprehensive view of the administration’s achievements and demonstrate its commitment to national transformation. He expressed confidence that once the projects are showcased, Nigerians would clearly see the impact of President Tinubu’s policies and leadership.
Also speaking, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media, Tunde Rahman, said the media would soon begin tracking and reporting on government projects nationwide, aimed at revitalising the country and delivering tangible value to citizens.
Officials from key ministries, including health, transportation, and information, also highlighted progress recorded under the administration, stating that reforms have been tailored to better meet the needs of Nigerians.
In the health sector, Nasiru Mohammed pointed to the Presidential Initiative aimed at unlocking the industry, which has encouraged local pharmaceutical production and reduced the cost of drugs. He added that the initiative, backed by an executive order signed by the President, is already attracting multinational investors into the sector.
On education, Rabiu Musa of the Ministry of Information cited the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, describing it as a landmark initiative that has improved access to funding for students pursuing higher education.
The Presidency maintained that these and other reforms reflect a deliberate effort by the Tinubu administration to reposition Nigeria’s economy and improve the welfare of its citizens.
