Nigerian social media personality Michelle Mukoro, popularly known as King Mitchy, has been confirmed alive after her management withdrew an earlier statement announcing her death.

In a follow-up post on Sunday, her team clarified that the influencer was safe and receiving attention, writing simply: “Michelle is okay now.”

The confusion followed a heated online dispute between Mitchy and activist VeryDarkMan over claims linked to her charity activities. Mitchy had recently said she renovated a school within six days and challenged the activist over his handling of public donations since 2025.

The situation intensified after allegations surfaced linking her charity efforts to Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu. The dispute reportedly led to the loss of Mitchy’s business Instagram account.

Concern had grown earlier when a distressing live video of the influencer circulated online. Her management subsequently claimed she had died at Prime Care Hospital in Abuja, stating that attempts to revive her were unsuccessful and asking the public to respect her family’s privacy.

However, the hospital quickly denied the claim, insisting she had never been admitted there and warning that legal steps could be taken against those spreading false information.

The latest clarification from her management appears to have calmed public concern, though the controversy surrounding her online dispute continues to generate reactions across social media.
