Residents of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua have been left unsettled following reports of a mysterious, hairless creature with unusually long limbs and a large tail, allegedly responsible for attacks on farm animals.
According to reports, CCTV footage appears to show the unidentified figure moving on all fours and climbing over walls with remarkable agility. The creature has reportedly been linked to attacks on chickens, roosters and rabbits, with claims that it carries animals away in its jaws before disappearing.
Paranormal investigator Jaime Maussan has reportedly examined the footage and begun gathering accounts from residents. He also presented photographs said to have been captured by trail cameras, claiming that experts had been unable to identify the animal.
The unusual appearance of the figure has sparked speculation online, with some comparing it to the mythical Chupacabra, a creature in Latin American folklore associated with attacks on livestock. Others have suggested that it could be an unusual-looking known animal.
Some residents have reportedly expressed fear following the alleged sightings, while Maussan’s team plans to install additional cameras and traps to gather more evidence.

However, the creature’s identity remains unconfirmed. Sergio Rodríguez, director of Civil Protection in Ciudad Juárez, said his department had received no official reports confirming the animal’s existence or the alleged attacks.
No physical specimen or biological evidence has been presented publicly to establish whether the footage shows an unknown species or an ordinary animal. Investigations and efforts to obtain further evidence are reportedly ongoing.
