Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez has deleted social media posts he made about celebrity chef Hilda Baci after her lawyers demanded their immediate removal and threatened legal action.
The development follows a letter dated August 15, 2026, from law firm Olaniwun Ajayi LP, which is representing Hilda Baci.
In the letter, the lawyers accused Seyi Vibez of publishing what they described as defamatory, malicious and false statements about their client on X.
The lawyers cited two posts made by the singer on August 14. In one, he allegedly made a claim involving Hilda Baci’s BBL and artists’ catalogue money, while another post contained an allegation that eating food prepared by the chef had nearly harmed him and included claims involving spiritual manipulation.
According to the legal letter, the posts collectively attracted approximately 4.3 million views, 7,100 reposts, 3,000 comments and 45,000 likes.
Hilda Baci’s legal representatives alleged that the posts resulted in harassment and abusive messages being directed at their client, causing reputational damage and emotional distress.
The lawyers demanded that Seyi Vibez permanently delete the posts and issue a public apology and retraction across his social media platforms.
They also requested that the singer call on his followers to stop any harassment or abuse directed at Hilda Baci.
The law firm gave Seyi Vibez three days to provide a written undertaking that he would not repeat or circulate similar allegations, warning that failure to comply could result in further legal action.
Seyi Vibez has since deleted the posts from his social media account.
