Laila Charani, the Moroccan wife of Senator Ned Nwoko, has accused actress Regina Daniels of introducing her to illicit drugs, claiming it nearly destroyed her marriage.
In a post shared on Instagram, Charani responded to Daniels’ recent allegations that Nwoko’s other wives also use drugs. She said her husband’s timely intervention saved her from addiction after Daniels allegedly introduced her to drugs six years ago.
Charani insisted that the only reason Daniels is now in conflict with Nwoko is because he wants her to quit drug and alcohol use. She emphasized that the senator neither smokes nor drinks.
“You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs six years ago, and it was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that rescued me from that dark path… The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction,” Charani wrote.
In addition, Charani accused Daniels of lesbianism, alleging that she “sleeps with girls” and has been a negative influence on the family, including nannies and workers. She challenged Daniels’ claims about financial support, stating she is content with the provisions from her husband.
Charani urged Daniels to seek psychological help and rehabilitation while leaving Nwoko’s other wives out of their marital dispute.
As of now, Regina Daniels has not responded to Charani’s allegations.
