President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the State House, Abuja.

This marks the second FEC meeting of the week, following Monday’s session, where the council approved several memos, including:

✅ The completion of the Oyo-Ogbomoso road project
✅ License approvals for new private universities in the country

While the agenda of Wednesday’s meeting has yet to be revealed, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, indicated at the end of the last meeting that another council meeting was scheduled for today.

At the commencement of the meeting, the council honored two former members who passed on recently with a minute of silence.

Those honored were the first female Minister, Adenike Oyagbola, who served under the late Shehu Shagari’s administration, and the late Chief Edwin Clark, who was a Federal Commissioner for Education and later Information.
