Big Brother Naija star, Phyna, has spoken out following reports of a physical altercation at a hotel in Abuja.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the reality TV star claimed she was attacked from behind and fought back in self-defense, alleging that the person she fought with ended up hospitalized.
“Who I beat dey hospital, dem carry tout come fight and people to record. I was attacked from behind on my way out — dem even crop the video just to twist the story say dem beat me,” she wrote.
Phyna further alleged that those involved edited the viral video to make it appear as though she was the one assaulted.
“Make una rest! The girl wey I beat never even regain consciousness. Una dey mad. Pray for me make who I beat no die abeg,” she added.
Earlier reports indicated that Phyna was involved in a brawl with another lady over a ₦200,000 dispute at the Abuja hotel.
As of the time of this report, neither the hotel management nor the police has issued an official statement regarding the incident.
