The General Overseer Worldwide of the Redeemed Christian Church of God,
RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has urged Christians in the country not to
lose hope in God, despite current situation in the country.

Adeboye also appealed to them to maintain a peaceful disposition, even in the face of frustration and persecution.

He spoke on Sunday at the RCCG Inter-denominational Service held at
Kassa in Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau State where closed
RCCG 2017 Northern Ministers and Workers Conference.

Speaking on the topic: “The Almighty”, the General Overseer said God
revealed himself to Abraham and that the people must obey and trust in
Him.

He said, “Know that there is a God who is the Almighty, hide nothing
from Him no matter the situation but put your trust in Him and the
Almighty will be available to you.

“Though you have no one to help, the Almighty will help, remember that He knows all.”

Earlier, Governor Simon Lalong, thanked Adeboye for his visit to Plateau State.

He appealed to the GO to continue to pray for lasting peace to be restored to the State.

Lalong said: “Sir, we need your prayers, please don’t forget us. On
our part, we are doing our best to maintain peace, law and order.”

“I also appeal to citizens to love one another because if there is love, there will be no crises.”
