The 2016 Jos Trade Fair
and biggest commercial activity in Plateau State was officially opened today at the Jos Polo Field by the State Governor, RT. Hon Barr. Simon Lalong who was represented by the Deputy Governor Prof. Sonny Tyoden.
The event started with the opening speech from PLACCIMA President, Elder Bulus Dareng, it was followed with a Brief speech by Ms Bolcit Patience Barshep, MD/CEO Anista Marketing and Events (Trade Fair Consultants).
There were goodwill massages from the Honorable Commissioner for commerce and Industries, Hon Ezekiel Daju. The Honorable Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assemble, Honorable Peter Azi who was represented by the Deputy Speaker, Yusuf Gagdi.
Mr Jonathan Onigbinde, the special guest of Honor also gave a remarkable speech.
The Governor in his Speech finally declared the 2016 Trade Fair Open after which he took a tour round some of the pavilions and stands at the trade fair ground.
The Deputy President of PLACCIMA and Chairman Trade Fair Committee, Chief Simon Tagni gave a Vote of thanks at the closing.
The occasion was well attended with the presence of the President Plateau State Traditional Council, The Gbong Gwon Jos, His Majesty Da Gyang Buba, BOT member of APC, Ambassador Yahaya Kwande, the State Executive Members, National Assembly Members, Local Government Chairmen, Members of the Diplomatic Corps and the Plateau Business Community/ Exhibitors.
