Reports reaching us indicates that Governor Simon
Lalong bore the brunt of the anger of IDPs in the Anguldi camp.
Plateau state Governor Lalong, who was visiting the camp two weeks after the unfortunate killings in Barkin
Ladi, the IDPs could not hide their disappointment and disapproval. As
such many pelted the Governor’s convoy with stones and objects.
The press crew which was attached to the Governors convoy were also
not spared as their vehicle was vandalised, but no casualties were
reported.
