Wednesday 18th May 2016 was celebrated as Igon Izere Day, a day set aside to mark the existence and historic culture of the IZERE kingdom. The Izere people are a tribe in Nigeria and precisely found in plateau northern district (Jos). The occassion was also to mark the international monuments day celebration.
