
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, this afternoon held a crucial meeting
with the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris; the Director
General of the State Security Service, Lawal Daura; and the Attorney
General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.
The meeting was held behind closed-doors at the Vice President’s wing of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, in Abuja.
According to a Presidency source, the meeting was convened by
Osinbajo following the summon of Senate President Bukola Saraki by the
police over his alleged involvement in the April 5th bank robbery in
Offa, Kwara State.
