Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has
revealed why President Muhammadu Buhari can’t fire Minister of Finance,
Kemi Adeosun, over the alleged forgery of her National Youth Service
Corps (NYSC) certificate.
Omokri, a staunch critic of the current Federal Government, said
Buhari can’t fire Adeosun because they both have certificate issues.
Adeosun’s official credentials reportedly showed that she parades an
alleged forged NYSC exemption certificate, which was issued in September
2009.
But, NYSC, in a statement by its Director of Press and Public Relations, Mrs. Adenike Adeyemi said available records indicated that Adeosun did apply for an Exemption Certificate.
However, Omokri, in a tweet reiterated that Buhari WAEC certificate was also dubious.
Omokri wrote, “People complain that President Buhari has not fired
Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun. What they don’t understand is that there
is esprit de corps between Kemi and Buhari.
“How can a man with dubious WAEC certificate sack a woman with dubious NYSC certificate? Their equation is balanced.”
