The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced Wednesday, September 30, 2026, as the commencement date for the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream One Orientation Course.
According to a statement by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the three-week orientation exercise will run until Tuesday, October 20, 2026, across all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
The statement said registration of prospective corps members will begin on September 30 and end on Friday, October 2, 2026.
The swearing-in ceremony for the prospective corps members is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 2.
The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished prospective corps members and orientation camp officials safe journeys to their respective camps.
He also advised prospective corps members to avoid night travel and use designated motor parks when travelling to their orientation camps.
The NYSC urged all prospective corps members to adhere to safety guidelines throughout the journey and orientation exercise.
